The huge 'Welcome to VC' sign on Miami's Kaseya Center is now visible on Google Earth. A fan on the r/GTA6 subreddit spotted it, and the find quickly spread among players counting down to Grand Theft Auto VI.

What was spotted

Reddit user Sakya22 shared that searching for the Kaseya Center on Google Earth now shows the giant sign reading 'Welcome to VC'. For anyone who knows the series, the letters need no explanation: VC stands for Vice City, the fictional take on Miami where GTA 6 is set.

The poster framed it as a fun fact and added that they hope Google Earth gets updated with "all the other GTA VI marketing photos too". In other words, the community already sees this as one piece of a wider marketing push around the city, and fans want to see the rest of it from above as well.

Why it matters

Seeing Vice City's name on one of Miami's best-known buildings feels like a milestone. For years, fans have compared trailer screenshots with real Florida streets, beaches and landmarks to piece together what the map will look like. Now the real city is dressing up as the game, at a scale big enough to show up in satellite imagery.

For anyone tracking the launch, it is another sign that the home stretch has begun. The GTA 6 release date is still November 19, 2026, on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, and roundups are already treating it as the month's headline act. Polygon, for example, lists it among the must-play new Xbox games arriving in November.

What we don't know

It is worth separating what can be seen from what is assumed. The Reddit post shows the sign on Google Earth, but it does not say when it went up or who arranged it. We also don't know whether more signs or similar stunts will appear elsewhere in Miami, or when Google will refresh its imagery to capture them. If new photos surface or Rockstar comments on the campaign, we will update this story.

What it means for you

If you like exploring the map before you can actually play, here is something to do this weekend: open Google Earth, search for the Kaseya Center and check it out yourself. And if you enjoy comparing real-world Miami with Vice City, this is a great place to start while you wait for November 19.

There are less than three weeks to go before players can explore Vice City for real. Until then, the actual city seems determined to remind everyone from the sky.
