A player on Reddit believes the voice introducing Flash FM, one of GTA 6's new radio stations, is the same one that did the intros for Non Stop Pop FM in GTA 5. It's a fan's impression and Rockstar Games hasn't confirmed anything.
What's being said
The theory comes from a thread posted on November 1 in r/GTA6, the game's main subreddit. The poster says that when they listened to GTA 6's new radio stations, the intro voice on Flash FM sounded "very familiar", and they linked it to the voice behind Non Stop Pop FM, GTA 5's pop hits station.
There's nothing more to it yet: no audio comparison, no names, just what the poster heard. Even so, it's the kind of detail fans love to dig into, because the radio stations are one of the series' trademarks and every hint about them gets attention.
Why fans care
In Grand Theft Auto, the radio is practically a character of its own. Flash FM is also a name with history for longtime fans of the series, so seeing it return in a game set in Leonida had already turned heads. If the same voice links Flash FM and Non Stop Pop FM, it would be a nice nod across generations of the series and would suggest Rockstar is bringing back some of its regular voice talent.
For anyone counting down to launch, this doesn't change anything major, but it keeps the soundtrack conversation going just weeks before release.
Is it legit?
- Who's saying it: a Reddit user with no known track record for leaks. This isn't a leak, just a personal impression from listening to the radio.
- What fits: fans have pointed out recurring voices across Rockstar games before, so the idea isn't far-fetched.
- What's missing: there's no published audio comparison and no official confirmation, and radio DJ intros often sound alike because of the delivery style.
- What would confirm it: the game's credits, a statement from Rockstar or the voice actor, or a proper audio analysis comparing both intros.
Until then, treat it as what it is: a community hunch.
When we'll know
GTA 6 launches on November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. If nothing is confirmed before then, the credits should reveal who voices each station. In the meantime, if you've got a good ear, you can compare the two intros yourself and make up your own mind.
