A report covered by Nacionale claims GTA 6 will come to PC in early 2027, a few months after the console launch. Rockstar hasn't confirmed it, and the PC version still has no release date.
With launch only weeks away, "is GTA 6 on PC?" is one of the most searched questions about the game. The short answer hasn't changed: not on November 19. That day the game arrives on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S only, the only platforms Rockstar Games has announced. What's new is that a rough window for PC is going around again: early 2027.
What the report says
Nacionale's piece keeps two things apart. There's what Rockstar has said, which only covers consoles. And there's what the report claims, which puts the PC launch in early 2027. There's no specific month, no system requirements, no price and no PC pre-order announcement.
Is it legit?
- Who's saying it: a report covered by Nacionale. It isn't an official statement from Rockstar or Take-Two.
- What fits: Rockstar usually launches on consoles first and brings its games to PC later. That's what happened with GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2, and GTA 6 doing the same would make sense.
- What doesn't fit, or is missing: the timing. A gap of just a few months would be shorter than usual for Rockstar, and no official source backs it up.
- What would confirm it: a Rockstar announcement, a store listing on a PC platform, or Take-Two mentioning it in an earnings report.
Until one of those happens, treat this as a rumor, not a release date.
What it means for PC players
If you only play on PC, you'll have to wait. Don't buy anything based on a PC version that doesn't officially exist yet. If you own a PS5 or an Xbox Series X|S, the date is still November 19, 2026.
Waiting has an upside: Rockstar's PC ports usually come with better graphics and more settings. The downside is that you'll run into a lot of story spoilers about Lucia and Jason in the meantime. If you want to go in blind, be careful on social media in the weeks after launch.
As soon as Rockstar says anything about the PC version, we'll cover it here.
