Tech Insider has published a breakdown of GTA 6's in-game radio with a very specific number: six stations and 18 tracks. Rockstar Games hasn't officially announced that lineup, so for now this should be treated as unconfirmed.
With just 17 days to go before the release date of November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, the soundtrack has become one of the hottest GTA 6 searches. That makes sense: across the series, car radio is a huge part of each game's identity, and plenty of players remember their favorite stations as vividly as the missions.
What's actually being claimed
Tech Insider's headline sums up GTA 6 radio as six stations and 18 tracks. What we've seen doesn't list station names, genres or artists, and we're not going to fill those gaps with guesswork. The same outlet has also put together a confirmed-vs-rumor roundup ahead of launch, which shows just how much mixed information is floating around right now.
What Rockstar has done is tease some of its stations: according to PC Gamer, the studio has shown a handful of them and the music curation is as strong as ever. That neither confirms nor rules out the six-station, 18-track figure.
Is it legit?
- Who's saying it: Tech Insider, a tech outlet that isn't part of the usual circle of Rockstar leakers. We're not aware of a track record of insider scoops from them on this series.
- What fits: a GTA game shipping with multiple radio stations is exactly what you'd expect, and it lines up with everything shown so far.
- What doesn't fit: such a precise number almost three weeks out doesn't match any official announcement we know of. On top of that, 18 tracks sounds low for an open world this size, so the figure may cover only part of the soundtrack or songs already identified, not the full tracklist.
- What would confirm it: an announcement from Rockstar, an official soundtrack listing on music platforms or, at the latest, the game itself on launch day.
What it means for you
If you're counting down to GTA 6, don't treat this station list as final. Full soundtracks are often revealed very close to launch or once the game is out, and extra songs can arrive later through updates.
One thing is certain: the radio will be one of the biggest talking points as soon as the first players jump into a car in Leonida. As soon as there's an official list of GTA 6 radio stations and songs, we'll post it here with every detail.
